Paul said that the original church was built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone (Ephesians 2:20). Jesus said to Peter "...Upon THIS ROCK I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18) ORIGIN This church began on the day of Pentecost with initial outpouring of the Holy Ghost. "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound From heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto the cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance" (Acts 2:1-4) ONE GOD This church believes in the existence of one God. "The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is ONE LORD" (Mark 12:29), also see( Ephesians 4:6:)( 1 Timothy 3:16) BIBLE The most unusual publishing project of all time. Which the Bible claims was God in human form, and to this affirmation and declaration we add a resounding AMEN!! This church believes that the Bible is the divine, inspired word of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16) CONSIDER PRAYERFULLY Salvation is a personal matter and must be worked out with prayerful consideration according to God's Word. The plan of salvation experienced by the original New Testament Church will make a wonderful change in your life! Why settle for a substitute when you can be a part of the church that is original. |
